Plane and Simple!
So much has been written about swing plane over the past few years, that students of mine often come to me very confused about what it is. Most players only have one speed they swing at, "full throttle," whereas touring pros can execute the same swing at many speeds. Learning to develop more "gears" is the best way to learn to exert more control over your game and is especially helpful when making swing changes. To see what I am getting at, tee up 4 balls side by side. Make a "full size" swing and hit the first ball as if you were only swinging 25 mph. Hit the next shot at 50 mph, the third at 75 mph and finally the last at your full pace or 100 mph. This is a difficult drill that will over time create alot more discipline in your fundamentals and practice routine.

We’ve been blessed today. Golfing royalty Sir Jeff of Ritter, Earl of Swington popped into GOLFPUNK Towers for a cup of tea and a chin wag.
